The Department of Botany offers services to those interested in being speakers for lectures, seminars, or training sessions. We provide expert analysis and testing services and serve as a knowledge hub for collecting information on significant plant species in Thailand (Prof. Kasin Suvatsbundhu Herbarium).
Services Include
This section collects specimensreference samples of both dried plants specimens and preserved plant samples. The herbarium of the Botanical Museum is indexed in the Global Herbarium Index and has an internationally recognized code, BCU, for citation in research publications based on samples stored in this museum. Additionally, it includes samples of fruits and seeds, economically valuable plant products, ethnobotanical specimens, transparent slides, photographs, illustrations, and slides of pollen and spores.
This area hosts permanent exhibitions that educate visitors about plant diversity, as well as rotating exhibitions that present plants from interesting and current perspectives. The museum also features a greenhouse showcasing live plant specimens.
This space is designated for preparing preserved plant samples, collecting documents and books related to various plant species, and contains essential equipment for studying details and creating line drawings of plant specimens.
The museum is open to students, researchers, faculty members, and the general public.
