Growing up on his family farm in the western outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand, he developed a strong interest in plant biology. His research focuses on the genetic, biochemical, and physiological basis of the soil-plant-atmosphere continuum (SPAC), with a particular emphasis on how stomata balance photosynthesis and water use.<br class=\"html-br\" \/>.<br class=\"html-br\" \/>Currently working in the Julian Schroeder Lab, he studies stomatal sensing and signaling under climate change-linked stresses, including elevated CO\u2082 and temperature.
