The Professor Kasin Suvatabandhu Herbarium — highlighting its value for both scientific research and forensic investigations.

The Straits Times (Singapore) recently featured the Professor Kasin Suvatabandhu Herbarium, Department of Botany, Chulalongkorn University — highlighting its value for both scientific research and forensic investigations. Herbarium serves as a repository of preserved plant specimens, functioning as an invaluable reference for biodiversity studies. Beyond its role as a historical scientific archive, the herbarium contributes to multiple fields of knowledge, including Pharmacology (medicinal and food plants), Ecology and Environmental science (invasive species research), and Forensics & law (plant evidence in criminal investigations). Established in 1982, the Professor Kasin Suvatabandhu Herbarium (BCU) currently holds over 20,000 plant specimens, serving as
